Phil mixes his own piano compositions improvisations & songs with classical repertoire
presented in a unique, accessible & engaging way. He prefers intimate, relaxed venues
to recreate the salon style of performance popular in the nineteenth century updated
for a twenty-first century audience. His next salon performance will be in July at

He uses amazing new technology - his own excellent stage piano combined with Pianoteq
- an extraordinary piece of physical modelling technology that mimics the myriad
acoustic properties of a wide range of real instruments - fine modern concert instruments,
historic fortepianos and harpsichords as well as electric instruments and even futuristic
pianos.
Phil also does session work - piano/keyboard, voice, programming & arranging; accompanying
(& coaching) for all instruments & voices; workshops and lecture recitals.
